NEW PUNJAB

Having announced the initiation of their new label in North America, E3UK are all set to unveil the first single that will mark the commencement of E3NA Records. The single titled ‘New Punjab’ sees DJ KSR and Deep Jandu team up to showcase the new generation of Canadian Bhangra. The song represents what being Punjabi means to a second generation Canadian with Punjabi roots. In their own words Toronto is their Punjab, so what better way to illustrate this feeling than a stunning video. One which features the best of Toronto, from its skyline to its sports teams, which is shot by N5 Pictures.

The track itself gets your attention with a thumping beat, fresh Punjabi instrumentals and the authentic folk vocals of Deep Jandu. Deep Jandu has been tipped for stardom after the release of his debut album Nach, which took the North American scene by storm. A hard hitting voice, he is sure to benefit from the expertise of E3NA Records and become a global player in the industry.
DJ KSR is also well known across North America as one of the premiere DJ’s on the circuit having performed across region from San Francisco to Toronto. Many of you will be familiar with the release of his two massive mixtapes entitledForever and Addiction, which was released in 2011.

The team behind Kudos Music and E3UK Records have come together to pay their respects to the loss of their beloved DJ Unkz. With the anniversary of his passing approaching on the 15^th of February 2012, the best way and most fitting tribute was for a moving tribute track to be released in his name. DJ Unkz aka Unkar Singh was a significant member of the Kudos Music roadshow.

Appropriately the brother he has left behind, DJ Aman produces the track in his memory. He has coupled delicate music and a strong sense of feeling to work alongside vocalist Dev Dhillon. Dev Dhillon emotionally showcases his immaculate vocals which are sure to bring tears to anyone who has lost a friend, relative or colleague.

The track will see its release via iTunes on the 1^st anniversary of DJ Unkz’s passing on the 15^th of February 2012, in conjunction with a music video with special appearances from his musical contemporaries and friends.

JAWANI 2

The admiral duo are back on fighting form: breaking new bounds in the name of Bhangra Saini Surinder and legendary producer Gupsy Aujla bring you ‘Get Funky’ an innovative house style track unique to any other contemporary Bhangra sound today.

Following the success of hit single ‘Bhangra’ the musical doublet are making waves in the Asian music industry once again. Rising star Saini Surinders’ infectious track ‘Mundra’ has featured in the Official Asian Download Chart for over ten weeks, whilst single ‘Thor’ featured in the charts for six weeks. The Firm Feat. Saini Surinder

Veteran North American DJs The Firm return with their stomping hit single ‘Shaunk’.

The dynamic duo clock up an impressive twenty one years combined in the industry, DJing across the Atlantic the Canadian born producers; Juggy Dhanjal and J-Statik are now working alongside E3UKs very own Saini Surinder to bring their unique sound across the pond.

During his career J-Statik has worked with several established North American artists producing, recording or mixing J-Statik has proved he is a master of all. Having graduated in New York with a Diploma in Audio Engineering the producer returned to Toronto to pursue his dream of having his own studios; making up one half of The Firm Statik describes their sound as South Asian Bhangra.

Juggy Dhanjals interest in music sprouted from his love of dance as a child, a keen Bhangra dancer the young Juggy would perform alongside fellow dancers at live gigs and festivals as part of a Bhangra Team. Later on his career he would go onto become a member of Jawani Bhangra Team, one of North Americas largest Bhangra teams. He has performed with some of the most established artists in the industry to date including Malkit Singh, Jazzy B and Sukshinda Shinda to name a few. His passion for music was not only restricted to dance, from a tender age Juggy became fascinated with folk instruments and through that fascination he learnt the Dhol, Tumbi and Harmonium amongst other instruments.

Now working with Saini Surinder the time has cometh for The Firm to emerge from the shadows as one of Bhangra best kept secrets and take the UK by storm.

They Don’t Believe Me
